  • Pricing products to sustainably help the most people, not to make the most money

Environmental Philosophy

Humanity has only one earth – it is the most valuable heirloom imaginable, and should be treated that way.

We view environmental impact as a negative side effect. We minimize it at every stage of our product design.

Our products are made from biodegradable and recyclable materials. Our manufacturing processes employ green energy, produce no environmentally hazardous material, and are built around reusable, recyclable, and compostable components.

Employment Philosophy

After satisfying its customers, a business’s next responsibility is to its workers. The satisfaction of shipping great products must come in addition to a good life, not as a consolation prize for self-sacrifice.

We therefore:

  • Pay at least twice the minimum wage to our employees, often much more.
  • Provide education assistance, a meaningful career path, and strongly encouraged retirement contribution matching.
  • Offer flex time to support family and community commitments.

Social Philosophy

We would not be who we are without the help of incredible teachers, and an incredible society.

As our way of giving back:

  • We volunteer our knowledge as teachers & lecturers.
  • We volunteer our labor to high efficiency charities.
  • We donate 10% of our profits to high efficiency charities.
  • We solve important problems through our products.
